Aluminium roll jacketing is manufactured from wrought aluminium alloy 1100  meeting ASTM B209 with an H-14 temper.The properties of this aluminium alloy provides the required strength to resist in-service abuse,and can be easily fabricated and installed.

Summary : 1000 serise – Aluminum of 99 percent or higher purity has many applications, especially in the electrical and chemical fields. These compositions are characterized by excellent corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, low mechanical properties and excellent workability.  Moderate increases in strength may be obtained by strain hardening.  Iron and silicon are the major impurities.
